A

Area Chart- Visualization type that displays data in a series of dots on a grid, connected by lines. Similar to a line chart, but with shaded areas in between.

Bar Chart- visualization type that displays data in a series of horizontal rows

Cartesian Chart- Visualization type that displays data using coordinates. Includes the following: Column, Bar, Scatter, Line, and Area charts.

Cohort Analysis- report type that shows behavior of a group over a set time period

Column Chart- visualization type that displays data in a series of vertical rows

Constant- an unchanging value

CX Route Embed- reference to the viewing of CX Explore Reports from within the SingleComm Automatic Call Distributor

Dashboard- a collection of looks

Default Space- The space that loads when you choose Browse. It is initially set to Shared but can be changed.

Dimension- singular data attributes (similar to script fields)

Donut Chart- Usually displayed in multiples, they are pie charts that display the same measures but with a unique identifier in the center.

Explore- starting point for a query

Expression- the formulas used to execute calculations

Function- mathematical relation between input and output [see also operator]

Funnel Chart- visualization type that displays data as a series of progressively decreasing values

Line Chart- Visualization type that displays data in a series of dots on a grid, connected by lines

Look- a saved report that can be retrieved by name and shared with other people in your organization

Map Chart- interactive visualization type that geographically displays queries using type:location

Map Points Chart- visualization type that displays plotted data with single dimensions of either type:zipcodeor type:location

Map Regions Chart- visualization type that displays plotted data by state/province

Measure- Calculations used in database queries. Can be used alone or in conjunction with dimensions.

Model- representation of a database connection

Null- indicates zero, or no data when used as a value




O

Operator- function used to transform data

  • mathematical (+, -, *, /
  • comparison (=, <, >, <=, >=)
  • logical (and, or, not)

Personal Space- a designated space that is only viewable to its owner

Pie Chart- visualization type that displays data as a circular graphic, divided into slices

Pivot- (chart or table) method of displaying aggregated data

Scatter Chart- visualization type that displays data in a series of dots that are plotted on a grid

Space- A designated area within the platform. Centrally located and may be used for storage like a folder on a computer.

Subspace- any smaller area located inside of a space

Tile- custom section of a dashboard that can contain statistics or graphs

Timeline Chart- visualization type that displays data as a series of comparable events that happen over a set period of time

Total Time- report measure that equals the sum of labor time + non-labor time

  • Total Non-Labor Time- total time- total labor time

View- call grouping, or subset of an explore 

Visualization- user-friendly graphical ways to display data
