Once the script and Cart have been created, the SKUs for the items must be added and configured.
Items must have an assigned SKU in order to be added to the shopping cart.
SKUs can only be created and modified from within the Cart field of the script builder unless they are imported in bulk.
When the Cart is first added to a slide (in this example, it is located on the Sticky Slide) it is completely empty.
Before SKUs can be added, you must configure the Payment Plan(s).
Click on Add Plan to create your first payment plan.
Once the plan has been labeled and configured*, click Create to save it. Repeat the process for any remaining payment plans.
*CX Create supports multi-pay plans with 1-16 payments. For more detailed information, please refer to the article titled Payment Plans.
The Add SKU button becomes active once a payment plan has been created.
*Offering more than one payment option? It is recommended that all payment plans be created and configured before SKUs are added. If a payment plan is added after the SKUs are created, each SKU will have to be updated to reflect the new pricing information.
*The Import\Export SKU feature is detailed in the article located here.
Click on Add SKU and the New SKU pop-up will appear.

The first section sets the behavior for the SKU.
- Label: This is the name of the item that will be displayed inside the cart.
*It is recommended that Labels be uniquely descriptive but also as concise as possible. - Manually adjustable quantity? (defaulted on): This allows for the item quantity to be raised or lowered within a set range, or based on a more than, less than, or equal to condition via an associated Numberfield. This feature, when enabled, ignores any previously set quantity conditions for the SKU. Details on how to configure this feature are provided in Part 2 of this article.
- Quantity controls in cart? (defaulted off): This option gives the agent an up/down arrow on the item quantity once it is placed in the cart. From there, it can be raised or lowered within a set range. Details on how to configure this feature are provided in Part 2 of this article.
- Active Conditions
Click the arrow to drop down the available options (defaults to Always)
* If left as-is, this SKU will be added to the cart on every call, regardless of what occurs in the script.- Never: If selected, this SKU will not be able to be added to the Cart under any circumstances.
While it may not seem useful when adding SKUs to a new script, the Never option can come in handy when a SKU needs to be temporarily or permanently disabled without deleting in from the Cart. - All of the following: If only a single action is required for the SKU to be added to the cart.
For example- If "Widget A" option is selected from the Product Choice checkboxes, Widget A's SKU will be added to the cart. If "Widget B" is selected instead of/in addition to, Widget B's SKU will be added to the cart.
*SKU conditions for Widget A
- Never: If selected, this SKU will not be able to be added to the Cart under any circumstances.
- Any of the following: If any one of a number of different actions result in the SKU being added to the cart.
For example- Widget A's SKU is added to the cart if "Widget A" option is selected from the Product Choice checkboxes, OR if customer chooses the "Premium Pack" option (must be configured separately), which contains Widget A and Widget B.
Widget B's SKU is added if "Widget B" is selected, OR if customer chooses "Premium Pack" which also includes Widget B.
